Barwick Estates has added two new members to its team, with Andrew Rohrbach and Donelle Lyndon-James joining the winemaker recently.
As the national brand manager for Barwick, Mr Rohrbach has the duty of launching labels across Australia. Ms Lyndon-James will assist Mr Rohrbach in this task, taking on the role of brand manager for Western Australia.
Australian Wine Holdings Limited has returned from the 2004 Hong Kong International Wine Challenge with an impressive 14 medals and a ‘seal of approval’.
The awards, announced earlier this month, were presented to three of the five brands operated by the group.
Alexandra Bridge from Margaret River won seven medals, two gold for its ‘101’ Cabernet Sauvignon and Alexandra Bridge Chardonnay.
Manjimup producer Chestnut Grove finished with two silver medals for its upcoming release Estate Chardonnay and Estate Merlot, as well as a silver medal for its current release merlot.
Hay Shed Hill won a silver, bronze and a ‘seal of approval’ for a number of wines, including its shiraz, which has enjoyed some success already
