WBHO Infrastructure will make improvements to both the Marmion Avenue-Whitfords Avenue and Marmion Avenue-Hepburn Avenue intersections, including pavement widening and construction of new lanes, drainage, signal upgrades and other ancillary works.

In July, Western Power began transferring power services underground and relocating street lighting to pave the way for road construction to begin by next month.

The project is due to be completed by June next year.

Last month, WBHO won a contract to carry out upgrades to a large section of the Great Eastern Highway as part of a state government project worth $36 million.
