WAPC makes three new appointments

THE Western Australian Planning Commission has announced three new appointments. Mike Hulme has been appointed as the representative of the urban development industry, having had extensive experience in sustainable developments. New deputy director general of the Department for Planning and Infrastructure Dorte Ekelund will become the government’s planning representative from the portfolio agencies. She was previously the deputy chief planning executive for the ACT Planning and Land Authority. Veronica Fleay has been appointed to represent the interests of regional WA on the commission. Dr David Wood, coast planning representative, and Dr Carey Curtis, sustainability representative, were both reappointed to the commission.
