GOLD miner Plutonic Resources announced extensions to its mainstay operation, the high-performing Plutonic mine in WA, this week 10 years ago. New exploration work has been confirmed by the company, which found that the southern extension of the large Plutonic gold system had been displaced eastwards by faulting. Plutonic has called the remote Plutonic/Marymia gold belt, 1,000 kilometres north of Perth, the most important Australian find since that at Kalgoolie 103 years ago.
