WA’s Competitive Electricity Market
On Tuesday September 9 and Wednesday September 10 The Marketplace Company is conducting an executive and management training course titled WA’s Competitive Electricity Market: Understanding the Fundamentals, at the Rydges Hotel.
The training course has been designed to prepare managers, senior executives, government officials and other energy industry participants for the challenges and opportunities that may arise from participating in WA’s emerging competitive electricity market.
Key strategic and technical issues that will be covered during the training course include the economics of electricity; the road to market reform; market reform paths and experiences; WA capacity and structure; regulation and consumer protection; managing risk in electricity markets and financial markets.
The course will feature master-class style presentations, practical case studies, interaction and market simulation exercises, and will also feature keynote speakers who have extensive experience in electricity market reform around the world.
