Over 550 real estate professionals and guests attended the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (Reiwa) awards ball, which celebrated WA’s top performing agents in the 2017-18 financial year.

Jay Standley’s Bunbury based agency Barr and Standley won top team by listings sold, while Daniel Gonzalez’s Realty Lane received top team by value sold.

The top assisted salespeople were Michelle Kerr (Abel McGrath Property Group) and Danielle Mariu (Hedland First National Real Estate), for value and listings sold respectively.

Top unassisted salesperson awards went to Rick Hockey from Hedland First National Real Estate, and Christopher Shellabear from Shellabears.

Michael Wallace from Professionals Stirling Clark was awarded top listing rookie.

The Perth branch of The Agency Group Australia won top office by both value and listings sold.

The company, which operates from a single CBD office, reported 667 sales and over $400 million in property sold across the financial year.

The Ray White Western Australia group took out two categories as top franchise by listings and value sold.

As part of the groups Urban Springs branch, salesperson Andrew Huggins took the honours for auction listings sold.

The top office award for auction listings was dually presented to Realmark Coastal and Caporn Young Estate Agents.

In the field of project marketing, Land 4 Sale and Now Living Realty dominated, with awards going to Samantha Davies and Tracy McDonagh respectively.

Land 4 Sale won top office and top salesperson for land project marketing, and Now Living Realty won both residential project marketing categories.

“Western Australia has some of the best and brightest real estate professionals in the country and the reiwa.com awards celebrate the state’s highest achievers,” Reiwa chief executive Neville Pozzi said.

“It’s a testament to the commitment, dedication and hard work these agents provide to their clients and communities on a daily basis that they continue to thrive in their chosen profession, despite the challenging market conditions that prevail.”
