WA off DCA’s radar

DCA Group has announced the acquisition of two new aged care facilities at Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast for $13.4 million.

It owns 80 per cent of I-Med, a network of service providers that includes the Perth Radiological Clinic.

DCA Group managing director and I-Med co-chairman David Vaux said the group’s strategy was to develop a national portfolio of aged heath care centres.

Mr Vaux said acquisitions in WA were not a high priority for the group at this stage while it built its portfolio on the east coast.

We are constantly looking at facilities throughout the eastern states and the ones we chose to buy are well located where we can get an appropriate return on our investment,” Mr Vaux said
