WA internet TV goes live

While the Note generally prefers reading dusty old hardbacks tucked away in the corner of a private library, we begrudgingly accept that the digital age is upon us. It seems even WA, a sleepy hollow from that fast-paced world beyond, can’t escape from the all pervading internet. The latest technological assault is from the founders of social media site Loconut. The Subiaco company revealed plans to go live this week with its internet television concept with a very quiet soft launch. Coming off the back of a funniest video contest, aptly called Show Us Your Nuts, Loconut chief Alex Blain said that the new TV site will have all locally produced content – such as fishing, boating and lifestyle shows. “It’s the stuff that used to be on television before global programming like CSI came along,” Mr Blain said
