WESTERN Australia has suffered a hefty fall in new home sales during the month of October, nearly reversing its big gains in September, in a sign that the market is bottoming out, according to one property analyst. In the latest Housing Industry Association survey of major builders, WA recorded a 12.9 per cent fall, bucking the national rise of 6.7 per cent of detached house sales. National total sales volumes rose 4.5 per cent.
