WA artists in collaboration

THE promoters of an upcoming art event have declared their event as a rare collaboration. So on that basis, The Note has decided to promote the art exhibition – something which is rare to this column. Rob Malcolm, the owner of the Garden Art Studio and Yallingup Galleries, has managed to pin down three landscape artists who all have a passion for recreating WA’s landscape. Larry Mitchell (work pictured above), Brendon Darby and Douglas Kirsop will present works under the exhibition ‘Landscapes and Seascapes from the Kimberley to the South West’ at the Garden Art Studio off Caves Road from April 7.
