Perth-based gold explorer Volta Mining has been admitted to the official list of the Australian Securities Exchange, after it successfully raised $3 million through its initial public offering.
Former DMC Mining managing director David Sumich heads up the company, which holds gold tenements in Burkina Faso.
Volta said it planned to use the $3 million it raised to fund exploration of its Dangue project, on Burkina Faso’s highly prospective Boromo Belt.
By close of trade today Volta’s stock had gained half a cent on its issue price, to trade at 20.5 cents.
