Veris wins work at Iron Bridge

Fortescue Metals Group has contracted Veris subsidiary Aqura Technologies to supply telecommunications at the Iron Bridge project in the Pilbara.

Aqura, based in Osborne Park, was established by Veris in 2017 when the company renamed its communications division.

Aqura recently secured contracts with BHP and OZ Minerals.

Chief executive Travis Young said Aqura was a leader in high-performance industrial connectivity.

“This contract award is a great validation of the strategy the Aqura team is pursuing to leverage their expertise to enable other organisations to achieve positive business outcomes with leading edge technology,” he said.

“We are very pleased to be supporting the great work of Fortescue and look forward to assisting them with their longer-term technology transformation program.”

Veris shares closed up 2 per cent to trade at 4.8 cents.
