Valmec locks in $7m of contracts

Engineering and construction group Valmec has secured new contracts in the gas and infrastructure sectors worth $7 million, including work for APA Group at its Yamarna gas pipeline facility.

Kewdale-based Valmec has been awarded a contract to construct and install metering and delivery stations at Yamarna, on the Eastern Goldfields Pipeline.

The company will also complete construction work for DBP at its Pluto compressor station and infrastructure work for CBH Group at Mirambeena.

In a statement to the ASX the company said it was pleased with the diversity of the new contracts.

“These new contracts are testament to the company’s broad range of execution capabilities, as well as its growing prominence in the gas sector – a sector that Valmec continues to lead in the delivery, service and operations of gas compression and processing infrastructure,” Valmec said.

“All works on these new contracts are expected to commence immediately with the majority of works expected to be completed within the current financial year.”
