Western Australian resource development company Kingstream Resources is a step closer to achieving its aim of building a $950 million iron ore mine and steel mill. Indonesian company Krakatau and several other large Asian steel makers are keen to deal with Kingstream in a low-cost iron-ore project at Tallering Peak, about 150 kilometres north-east of Geraldton. Kerry Packer’s $1 million investment in the obscure company two years ago may now pay dividends.
