TRAVELAND Claremont has devised a new approach to making leisure travel decisions.
The company launched an ‘upper deck’ above the Bayview Terrace ground floor office as a premium travel area for VIPs six months ago.
The service is available to five star cruising, first and business class travellers, offering a relaxing lounge environment that makes deciding holiday details less of a hurried experience.
Group travel specialist Julie Barns said it is important to be able to make a well-considered decision in a pressure-free atmosphere.
“If you and your partner are going on a annual holiday and are spending $20,000 all up, you want to be able to take your time and not be sitting on an uncomfortable stool,” she said.
“People are encouraged to take their time and there are refreshments available. It’s like being in a First Class lounge in an airport.
We’re there to offer advice and even give personal tips on what’s good and what isn’t.”
Traveland recently won the AFTA Travel Agency Group of the Year award. The Claremont division has won an AFTA award for three years in a row – twice as the Best Agency in Australia.
