Updated compliance guide for small business

AN updated version of a guide aimed at helping small businesses applying for or holding an Australian financial services licence has been released.

It suggests measures that may be appropriate for a small business to have in place in order to comply with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Policy Statement 164 Licensing: Organisational capacities and focuses on practical ways of applying the policy in a small business setting.

The new version of the guide includes a new section on risk management, providing direction on how a small business can analyse, assess and deal with business risks.
