On Tuesday, October 19, the American Chamber of Commerce will host The US Navy in Western Australia at the Sheraton Ballroom.
US Navy Seventh Fleet Representative Commander Richard Tilghman will address attendees at the seminar.
Commander Tilghman has spent 22 years in service with the US Navy, is a Gulf War veteran and has served in Somalia and East Africa, and South and Central America in counter-narcotic operations.
Commander Tilghman is currently US Seventh Fleet Western Australia officer-in-charge and heads all military activity from Darwin to Esperance.
The commander will speak about the US Navy’s presence in Western Australia and his experiences working in the navy, beginning at the US Naval Academy Annapolis through to having dual qualifications in ships and aircraft, and receiving a number of awards including the Meritorious Service Medal, US Navy Commendation Medal, and Royal Australian Air Force Commendation.
Registrations can be made with the American Chamber of Commerce for members $71.50 and non-members $93.50.
