US Free Trade Agreement Conference
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia in conjunction with the Curtin Business School is conducting The Australia – United States Free Trade Agreement International Conference on Friday August 29, at the CCI Function Centre.
The conference has been designed to provide participants with a clearer understanding of recent developments in the ongoing Free Trade Agreement negotiations; an opportunity to ask questions of those sitting at the negotiation table; and a chance to provide input from the WA perspective.
Keynote speakers for the conference include Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, deputy lead negotiator for the Australia-US Free Trade Agreement, Phil Sparkes; United States Embassy in Australia, counsellor for economic affairs, Mike Delaney; United States Department of Agriculture - Canberra, agricultural counsellor, Andrew Burst; and United States President’s Advisory Committee on Trade Policy and Negotiation, committee member, Dr Paula Stern.
