RECENTLY retired Peet Ltd managing director and CEO, Warwick Hemsley, has been elected as president of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA Division), replacing outgoing president and Mirvac development director, Darren Cooper. The institute has also elected new councillors: Sandy Biagioni of Satterley Property Group; Dean Brickell of Suncorp Property Finance; Victor Marcellino of SPM Project Marketing; and Steve Rolls of RPS Environment. Mr Hemsley currently holds positions as a member of the General Council of the WA Chamber of Commerce and Industry, deputy chairman of the WA Opera Company and council member of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra.
