Trio set sights on bigger stage

FOR those readers who were at the Leeuwin Concert in February, you may recall the performance of talented string trio, bojeme (pictured), the group that supported Simply Red. And, if you attended the WA Business News 40 under 40 Awards this year, bojeme provided some early evening entertainment on board Austal’s passenger ferry. This WA-based trio – a purely instrumental band that plays rock jazz – is looking to take its career to the next level by raising $28,300 to record a full album and make a promotional DVD. In the meantime, they’re scheduled to appear in Kalgoorlie at the Diggers n Dealers forum in August, and are even making a tilt to perform at this year’s AFL Grand Final.
