Trade hurdles canvassed

Although companies may recognise the lucrative benefits of international trade, getting started can be a daunting prospect says WA Chamber of Commerce International Trade Centre manager, Ian Whitaker.

If approached incorrectly, the company may find itself in a legal and financial minefield. However, there are a number of avenues available to existing and potential international traders.

Mr Whitaker will present a seminar during the business to business trade show to offer advice to traders on “where they can go to get support and what different organisations can assist.”
