Trade and Investment Opportunities in Bangladesh

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of WA is hosting a luncheon and seminar with guest speaker M. Humayun Kabir, High Commissioner for Bangladesh, August 22 at the CCI Function Centre. This itinerary for this 10am to 1pm event includes a presentation on the changing face of business in Bangladesh and the consequent trade and investment opportunities for Western Australia, and a case study by Wesfarmers Energy Ltd on the development of the LPG business in Bangladesh. Other speakers include: •Md. Restadul Islam – commercial counsellor for Bangladesh; •MAB Siddique – director, Trade, Migration and Development Research Centre, UWA Business School; •Graham Droppert, Honorary Consul-General for Bangladesh in WA; and •Kim Chance MLC – Minister for Agriculture and Food.
