The January 2003 Trade in Goods and Services Data shows that the seasonally adjusted balance on goods and services was a deficit of $1.4 billion – an improvement of $1.6 billion on the December deficit.
A report by the OECD stated that Australia was among the top performers in the OECD. It also found that Australia was resilient to economic shocks, both internal and external.
