TRADE Minister Mark Vaile said he would be overseeing the “most ambitious trade agenda in history” over the next year. The program is set out in the Federal Government’s annual trade objectives statement, which Mr Vaile released last week. Trade 2003 outlines the Government’s strategy of competitive liberalisation. Mr Vaile announced that the Government was releasing Australia’s initial offer under the WTO’s general agreement on Trade in Services.
