Southern Cross Electrical Engineering has announced a board shakeup, with current chairman Frank Tomasi stepping down, to be replaced by former Clough chairman John Cooper.
Mr Cooper resigned from the Clough Board in January last year, after serving as non-executive chairman since August 2006.
He also served as Clough's interim chief executive between January and August 2007.
Mr Tomasi said the decision to retire as chairman was made after taking into account a number of both business and personal considerations.
He said he would spend more time with his family after 33 years with Southern Cross.
"On the business front, I believe SCEE is poised for a period of sustained growth," Mr Tomasi said.
"Under the leadership of our recently appointed chief executive Simon Hugh, I believe the management team of SCEE is extremely well placed to take full advantage of these opportunities.
"In addition to providing the level of governance demanded as a publicly listed company, I believe now is a good time to make these board changes."
