Former Wesfarmers finance director Gene Tilbrook has been appointed as non-executive chairman of Transpacific Industries.
Former Wesfarmers finance director Gene Tilbrook has been appointed as non-executive chairman of Transpacific Industries.
The Queensland based company is focused on waste and resource management.
Mr Tilbrook will replace Terry Peabody who is stepping down from the company's board after 27 years,
Mr Tilbrook thanked Mr Peabody for his service to the company.
"We thank Terry for his extraordinary leadership and dedication since he founded the Company 27 years ago. Over this time Terry has made an outstanding contribution to the development of TPI and built a wonderful group of assets in an industry that is devoted to environmental management," he said.
In August last year, Mr Tilbrook was to the board of NBN Co Limited, the company established to deliver the $43 billion national broadband network.
