Three dimensional trimming technology from Superline

Superline has introduced innovative 3 dimensional trimming technology to strengthen its plastic thermoforming capabilities. The introduction of the USA built industrial strength 5-axis CNC router is the first of its kind in Western Australia.

The machine is a high performance 5 axis trimming centre with advanced features, high output and low cost.

It includes a precision aligned machining head and calibrated linear axes, which can accurately execute programs generated of line by CAD/CAM software.

The machine is also equipped with an electronic probe system that can be used to automatically scan a surface in three axes for mould or pattern making and machine product in plastic, wood or aluminium.

This makes it ideal for prototyping, R & D or complex machining operations.

Programmes are readily converted into DXF files to create a series of compatible tool paths with minimal editing required.

The 5 x 5 dual table machine is designed to revolutionise 5-axis programming and machining for Superline.
