TELSTRA sold its 10.6 per cent stake in the Seven Network. Perth-based media entrepreneur Kerry Stokes is the biggest shareholder in the network with 15.6 per cent, followed by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation with a 15 per cent holding. The company has held a stake in Seven since the company listed on the stock market in 1993. The Telstra holding was bought at $2 a share, giving the teleco an estimated $52 million profit on the sale.
