The census… is your information really secure?

Good Morning,

China is on top of the medal tally, with Australia 3rd…

Common Australia… lift!

An eventful night for the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) with the website down, following the Census due to “hacking” concerns?

Who says that your information is secure?

Last night, stocks were flat (Dow Jones +3 points), which will reflect in today’s market action here in Oz….

Almost 90 percent of S&P 500 companies have posted results for this earnings season, with about 77 percent exceeding profit predictions, and 56 percent topping projections for sales.

Not a bad result, right?

Officials from Frankfurt and London to Sydney and Tokyo are engaging in stimulus, lowing borrowing costs or engaging in massive asset-purchase programs -- sometimes both.

In Oz, we have CBA and TCL report their FY results….

Apparently, CBA is one of the most “underweight” stocks for active managers, according to UBS…..

The SPI is up 1 point this morning
