An eventful night for the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) with the website down, following the Census due to “hacking” concerns?

Last night, stocks were flat (Dow Jones +3 points), which will reflect in today’s market action here in Oz….


Almost 90 percent of S&P 500 companies have posted results for this earnings season, with about 77 percent exceeding profit predictions, and 56 percent topping projections for sales.


Not a bad result, right?

Officials from Frankfurt and London to Sydney and Tokyo are engaging in stimulus, lowing borrowing costs or engaging in massive asset-purchase programs -- sometimes both.

In Oz, we have CBA and TCL report their FY results….


Apparently, CBA is one of the most “underweight” stocks for active managers, according to UBS…..
