On Tuesday October 28 the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Western Australian Section is conducting a panel debate titled The Great Rail Debate at the Kings Park Function Centre.
The debate will feature two teams of experts who will put differing points of view on the key issues surrounding the construction of the Perth to Mandurah railway. Audience members will be invited to put questions to the panel which will be facilitated by UWA Business School chair of the transport division Professor John Taplin and will include panel members such as Minister for Planning and Infrastructure the Honourable Alannah MacTiernan; NewMetroRail deputy project director Peter Martinovich; and Bruechle Gilchrist and Evans principal Peter Bruechle.
