The John Curtin Institute of Public Policy has cancelled its second public policy forum for 2006, scheduled for June 30 at the Parmelia Hilton Hotel. The scheduled guest speaker for this event was Julie Bishop, Minister for Education, Science and Training and the Minister assisting the Prime Minister for Women’s Issues. Ms Bishop is unable to attend the event due to overseas commitments. The event has therefore been rescheduled for later in the year. If you have already registered for this event, you can either cancel your registration and receive a full refund or continue your registration for the rescheduled event. Please email your decision to Tracy Wilson at t.wilson@curtin.edu.au. The third forum is still to be held on July 5 with Lyndon Rowe, chairman of the Economic Regulation Authority WA, as the keynote speaker. General registration for this breakfast briefing costs $55 and $44 for WA University staff and alumni. For more information contact the John Curtin Institute on 9266 1111.
