What?

WeDispatch was formed when Dublin-based WeBringg acquired Perth-based Spatula.io in July 2018, and the software development team continues to be based at IQX at the University of Western Australia. WeDispatch is a delivery tracking app for restaurant chains and retailers. The website allows businesses to track job status and staff location in real time, while an iOS and Android app allows drivers to grab jobs, navigate to tasks, capture photos and signatures and send tracking links and communicate with the customer.

Where?

Further details about the service and where to download the app is available at wedispatch.io.

Who?

WeDispatch has five developers based in Perth, led by chief technology officer Andrew Walker, who was the founder of Spatula.io.

“We believe that the companies that produce value for customers should be the ones to own the relationship rather than messing up critical moments like delivery or, worse yet, giving them away,” Andrew Walker said.

In February, the company signed a contract with Burger King to provide the technology to back the fast food chain’s new self-delivery strategy in New Zealand.
