What?
VetDB is a platform that matches veterinary patients with their correct medical data. The VetDB system digitally records the vaccination event and then locks it to the animal’s unique microchip. This means wherever the animal goes, their vaccination history goes with them. VetDB provides healthcare stakeholders with trusted, verifiable and accessible records on demand through the implementation of blockchain technology to ensure the medical record’s integrity.

Quotation
“We wanted to solve an industry-wide problem of patient-data disconnect. Owners lose certificates, vets don’t have immediate access to pertinent medical history, and owners have to pay for repeat procedures and tests because information is not immediately available,” Ross Wyness said.
$/Market/News
VetDB has completed a $135,000 seed round, comprising largely of veterinary industry players. It anticipates opening its next funding round within the next few weeks in order to support its scale-up efforts. Its current focus is on addressing the WA market of around 300 veterinary premises, before scaling nationally and abroad.
