THE table that hosted some of the biggest (and perhaps more questionable) deals in the heady ’80s appears to have gone to a good home.
Terrace gossip hints the 20-seat Bondcorp boardroom table is now residing in the Perth office of big five accounting firm Deloittes Touche Tohmatsu.
Failed down-stream iron ore processor Kingstream took possession of the table along with the old Bondcorp offices on the 45th floor of the BankWest tower.
However, those offices are now leased to Peter Laurance’s development company Pivot.
A Deloitte’s spokeswoman refused to comment on whether the firm had the table in its possession but she also refused to deny it.
