TMH appoints Logtenberg as CEO

The Market Herald has made Tommy Logtenberg its new chief executive, a role he has been acting in since December.

Mr Logtenberg, who is the chief financial officer at Gumtree Australia, Carsguide and Autotrader, replaced former managing director Jag Sanger as The Market Herald CEO in an interim capacity.

The Market Herald today announced on the market that Mr Logtenberg would be made permanent in the role.

"The company confirms that Mr Logtenberg has now been appointed to the full-time position as CEO. He also remains managing director of Gumtree AU Pty Ltd," the announcement said.

"Mr Logtenberg’s remuneration is disclosed in the 16 January 2023 announcement and remains unchanged."

In January, The Market Herald listed Mr Logtenberg's fixed remuneration as interim CEO at $500,000.

Mr Sanger was placed on leave in early December and resigned later that month, according to The Market Herald's ASX announcements.

In August, the Perth-based owner of investor forum HotCopper acquired classifieds brands Gumtree Australia, Autotrader and Carsguide in a $87 million deal.
