Synergy targets SME gas sales

Leading state electricity provider Synergy has launched a new sales campaign offering small to medium size businesses as much as 25 per cent off their gas bills.

The energy giant said Western Australian businesses which spend between about $7,000 and $40,000 could shave a quarter off their bills if they switch over to a Synergy gas plan.

The company has also promised no gas price increases for two years.

Synergy will not pass on any gas price increases, meaning customers who switch will enjoy the benefit of today’s low prices for gas for the next two years,” the company said in a statement.

It has also waived account establishment fees.

General retail manager Geoff Roberts said many businesses in WA had been paying too much for their gas for too long.

“With savings of up to 25 per cent off gas, our offer is the best in the market,” Mr Roberts said.

“This could equate to big savings for businesses every month and is a real demonstration of how serious Synergy is about delivering a better deal to WA businesses.”
