Swiftel: number’s up

PERTH-BASED telco Swiftel Limited has announced the activation of the 5,000th customer to its DSL division.

The number of new customers for the Swiftel Broadband division has increased in September by a further 1,500 customers up from 1,100 new customers in August.

Total WA customers now exceed 1,000.

The majority of subscribers are in NSW, with 400 subscribers signing up in Victoria since the Melbourne facility was commissioned in late August.

The completion of Swiftel’s full rollout into all major capital cities of Australia will be completed by the end of October.

The company is aiming to sign 7,000 DSL subscribers by the end of December.
