THE chairman of the Subiaco Redevelopment Authority, Ron Doubikin has been appointed chairman of the Coral Coast Marina Development Pty Ltd (CCMD) Board.
New directors, Steve Wiltshire and John Tanner, have also been appointed to join the executive directors Richard Hay and Alan Smith in leading the proposed $180 million development at Mauds Landing.
Mr Doubikin said the appointments consolidate CCMD’s expertise and would drive the development of Coral Coast Resort.
“We are currently in the process of obtaining statutory approvals for the site works to commence in August next year,” Mr Doubikin said.
“The company is very pleased with the Native Title agreement recently signed with the Baiyungu community”.
Mr Wiltshire is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, businessman and financial consultant and Mr Tanner is a civil engineer and hotelier, with extensive building and construction experience.
Mr Doubikin is a past president of the Master Builders Association of Australia and was bestowed with life membership for his extra-ordinary service to the building industry. He is also a director of C-BUS Superannuation Fund and Utilities Trust of Australia Ltd and is a member of the National Labour Consultative Council.
He is also chairman and CEO of Doubikin Group of Companies which since 1965 has been involved in building construction, property development, joinery and cabinet making, hardware and steel fabrication, self storage units and hotels.
