Subi retail space

SUBIACO Square joint venture partners Blackburne Subi Centro, Rockingham Park and Stockland, will release ground-floor street frontage retail space at Proximity Apartments, located at the corner of Roberts and Rokeby Roads in the Subiaco Square development.

Proximity Retail comprises 11 separate retail lots ranging in size from 59 square metres to 215sq m and is scheduled for completion by May 2004.

Blackburne & Joyce Real Estate director Michael Milne said the space had been priced to appeal to small investors and owner/occupiers.

“Subiaco is increasingly being acknowledged as one of Perth’s most preferred shopping and entertainment precincts. Prime retail space is rare and rental costs are almost guaranteed to increase with Subiaco’s growing popularity,” Mr Milne said.

Proximity Retail units start from $215/sq m (inclusive of GST), equating to an average cost per square metre of $3,350 (plus GST).
