Strong US ties help Millipede sales

Plastic cable fastener maker Millipede has announced strong sales growth in the US, with sales in the four months to October almost double that of the entire 2004-05 financial year.

Millipede said strong ties with retailer Radioshack had teleco Bell South had helped the company achieve $214,000 in sales in the US to October compared to $122,000 in the previous financial year.

Millipede's cable fasteners are used in the electronics industry and other places where cables need to be bound together.
