Stelbovics to head research

ANDRIS Stelbovics has accepted an offer to become pro vice chancellor (research) at Murdoch University – a position he has acted in since February 2003.

Professor Stelbovics joined Murdoch University in 1996 and has built an internationally renowned research group specialising in scattering theory and the modelling of atomic collisions.

He is the joint director of the Centre for Atomic, Molecular and Surface Physics and is the author of more than 100 refereed articles.
