THE generosity and golfing skills of more than 120 members of Western Australia’s steel industry has raised more than $23,000 for Senses Foundation.
The annual Australian Steel Institute Charity Gold Day and Dinner raised the funds for the charity which provides services to people who are deaf-blind throughout WA.
Sense Foundation CEO Debbie Karasinksi said the money would be used to produce individual communication guides to help those in direct contact with a deafblind person to use consistent communication approaches.
