State Energy Outlook Conference

The sixth annual WA State Energy Outlook Conference will be held on June 22 and 23 at the Hyatt Regency Perth. The topic for this year’s conference is: The WA energy reforms – Delivering a competitive and robust electricity and gas industry. Attendees will be provided with a strategic briefing on the future WA energy industry. The key speakers for the event are the new chief executive’s of the four independent businesses that arose from the separation the Western Power Corporation (April 1, 2006): • James K Mitchell – CEO of Synergy; • John Lillywhite – CEO of Verve Energy; • Doug Aberle – CEO of Western Power; and • Rod Hayes – CEO of Horizon Power. •Francis Logan MLA, Minister for Energy, Science and Innovation, will also speak about the impact of national energy reform on WA.
