THE State Government has awarded the contracts for construction of three new railway stations along the southern suburbs railway.
The contracts to build the three stations at Rockingham, Warnbro (Waikiki) and Mandurah are worth $38 million.
Work on the Rockingham and Warnbro stations will be undertaken by Doric Construction – Brierty Contractors, while Mandurah builder JM and ED Moore has been awarded the contract to build the station at Mandurah.
Planning and Infrastructure Minister Alannah MacTiernan said the stations would be completed by 2006.
