THE proliferation of coffee shops and purveyors springing up around the Terrace can lead one to think these are highly profitable enterprises. Australian Bureau of Statistics figures show the average full-time adult earns $1006.70 per week, or $52,348 per annum. As well as coffee shop owners, 74 per cent of butchers and 47 per cent of cabinet makers earned less than average weekly wages. So leave a tip.
