A team of industry, regional and union representatives has been drawn together to advise the Western Australian Government on the best way to deal with skills shortages in the State.
The WA Skills Advisory Board consists of:

Chamber of Commerce and Industry business services division director Gary Collins;
Migration Institute of Australia State president
Christine Knight;
Recruitment and Consulting Services Association WA region president Stuart McLean;
UnionsWA secretary Dave Robinson;
Independent Schools Salaried Officers Association State secretary Theresa Howe;
Australian Manufacturing Workers Union WA secretary
Jock Ferguson; and
Goldfields Esperance Development Commission chairman Bill McKenzie.
