Skilling WA Conference

The Department of Industry and Resources is supporting Skilling WA, a two-day strategic conference addressing the skills shortage in our nation’s fastest growing state, to be held on June 6 and 7 at the Sheraton Hotel. Keynote speakers for this event include: • Amanda Vanstone – Minister for Immigration and Multicultural Affairs; • Prof Alan Robson – vice-chancellor at the University of WA; • Clive Brown – chairman of the WA Skills Formation Taskforce; and • Ljiljanna Ravlich MLC – Minister for Education and Training WA. This conference will be followed by two workshops on June 8: ‘Assessing the skills and training needs of your workforce’ and ‘Successful international recruitment’. Registration for this event costs $1995 for the conference only, $2395 for the conference and one workshop and $2695 for the conference and both workshops.
