KPMG demographer Bernard Salt can add some pepper to the dating game with his new book, The Big Picture, launched last week. Results from his Fella Filter have given ladies a head start in finding the nation’s most eligible bachelors and their top 10 occupations using the last census data. The Fella Filter has processed 1.3 million men and revealed 86,000 (or six percent of Australian men) who are aged between 25-35, single, unattached, largely heterosexual and rich. Topping the list are 3400 accountants, then 2657 sales and marketing managers, followed by 2233 software designers. Besides finding eligible gentlemen, The Big Picture predicts changing inter-personal relationships over the next 10 years as well as major generational and social change in the home and workplace.
