Seaplanes may return

SEAPLANES may soon land on the Swan River again.

Council has told the Swan River Trust it conditionally approves of a plan from Harbour Air to operate from the Swan River adjacent to Riverside Drive, near Victoria Avenue.

One of the conditions is that the operation be limited to an initial twelve month trial period.

The Swan River Trust has the final say on whether the proposal takes off.
