GRD Minproc
Perth-based resource development company GRD Minproc is offering a $40,000 scholarship program with the University of Western Australia and Curtin University.
Up to four $10,000 scholarships are available to undergraduate engineering students who have completed their second year of study.
Recipients are also guaranteed a job at GRD Minproc after graduation.
Nominations are open until May 31, and recipients will be announced in late July.
Recipients will be announced late July 2003.

MERIWA has awarded $10,000 post-graduate scholarships to:
Cindy Barber (Curtin University), for research into the geochemistry of the Perth and Canning Basins;
Scott Thompson (Edith Cowan University), for a study of lizard communities at the rehabilitated Cawse nickel mine site in the north eastern goldfields.
